Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Search Data: We store your search criteria, saved searches, and listing preferences to provide our service.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with GlemRay, including searches performed, listings viewed, and features used.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. We receive your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) send deal alerts and notifications you've opted into; (c) send newsletters if you subscribed; (d) process payments for premium features; (e) communicate important service updates.

3. Email Communications

By creating an account and opting into our newsletter, you consent to receive: deal alert emails, car buying tips, product updates, and promotional content. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email. Transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts) cannot be opted out of.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) Supabase (database hosting); (b) Stripe (payment processing); (c) Anthropic (AI analysis, anonymized listing data only); (d) Postmark (email delivery); (e) as required by law.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and row-level security on our database. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You may: (a) access your personal data through your account settings; (b) update or correct your information; (c) delete your account and associated data by contacting support; (d) opt out of marketing communications; (e) request a copy of your data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Search history and listing data may be retained for up to 12 months for service improvement. You may request deletion at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

GlemRay is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes via email.
